Tasting Room Associate

Job Duties
– Effectively greet and create an experience for each person that walks into the tasting room.
– Provide knowledgeable tastings to all guests using the information provided in training.
– Use a cash till and debit/credit machine to process transactions.
– Assist guests in selecting wines and helping them carry items to vehicle.
– Monitor tasting room at all times for theft and customer service needs
– Provide wine and food service for events as needed

Requirements
– Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in B.C.
– Current BC Serving it Right Certificate
– Interest in the BC wine and hospitality industry
– Previous experience in a tasting room, premium wine sales or hospitality preferred.
– Experience with POS is useful
– Our tasting room is open 7-days a week and successful candidates must be willing to work all shifts days/evenings including weekends and holidays.
– Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position including repetitive lifting of 30 to 40 lbs and being able to stand for extended periods of time.
– Food Safe and First Aid an asset.
– Reliable transportation. It takes about 30 mins to drive out to the winery.
– Wear uniform while on shift and keeping it clean.

Terrace Server

– Processing payments.
– Effectively greet and create an experience for each person that walks onto the Terrace.
– Clearing tables and resetting.
– Providing proper wine service.
– Providing food service.
– Use a cash till and debit/credit machine to process transactions.
– Assist guests in selecting wines and helping them carry items to vehicle.
– Monitor tasting room at all times for theft and customer service needs
– Provide wine and food service for events as needed

Requirements
– Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in B.C.

– Previous experience in serving preferred.
– Experience with POS is useful

– Provide wine and food service for events as needed.
