Did you know that our Tasting Room Supervisor Marc is also an artist by trade? He has been doing art classes at the winery since last summer. Each week Marc features a different focus as observational and drawing skills are built in a variety of media. All supplies are provided along with a wine tasting (of course).
In cooler weather, classes have been held inside in our mezzanine that over looks our cellar. It’s quite the treat to work next to our oak tanks. Then in the summer classes are held outside on our lawn in our picnic area. You can enjoy the summer breeze and sounds of the vineyard and ranch.
Everything from negative and positive shapes, line and contour drawing, to edge control and depth illusion including overlap, lost and found edges, has been covered.
